For all out there who loved "My French Life" by Vicker Archer, the story of an Australian family taking a giant leap of faith, migrating to London as well as rebuilding an incredibly beautiful summer home in Provence, I have a new bible for you to enjoy. Meet Jane Webster. Jane's story is somewhat similar to Vicky's but on a much grander scale.
At my French table is the tale of the Webster family, Jane, Pete, and their four kids Lachlan, Millie, Madeleine and Alex living the ultimate dream and buying a chateau in northern France to start a culinary school and bed and breakfast. The Webster's divide their time between their home in Melbourne, Australia and their beloved summer chateau in Normandy. (If only!)
I'm only up to the 3rd chapter but already I'm entranced. The pictures alone make this book a treasure. Beautifully presented with stunning photography of the interior and the exterior of the chateau, the village, the cuisine and the wonderful people of Normandy.
This book will tantalise your senses and have you brushing the cobwebs off your passport :)
Enjoy!
The last I checked Amazon didn't stock this book yet but it will come.
Aussie's - DJ's, Dymocks and Borders all have plenty of copies.
